Ryan van Heerden has been involved in photography for over 13 years, starting with portraits and family photography, and moving into wedding photography and event photography, from music events to school balls, for those all important pre-ball photos.

Egopic grew out of the love of strange and interesting photographic concepts.

Online networking has provided Ryan with an ever growing network of models, makeup artists and photographers that share ideas, and collaborate when they can to produce some fantastic shots. New ideas are always welcomed, and many spend weeks in planning (like cutting out paper snake scales to stick all over the model) or are even photographed in a spontanious photoshoot, just to see if it works.
